All smart skiers, listen up. If you want to ski a world-class mountain, find no lift lines, enjoy the best views in North America, and take in a cost-saving mid-season deal, head to Telluride.

Through Feb. 4, Mountain Lodge at Telluride, the area's premier ski-in/ski-out resort, is offering "The Smart Skier" deal to help discriminating snow enthusiasts get the most for their money. Guests who stay one night receive 10 percent off regular rates. Those staying two nights receive 20 percent off, and those staying three or more nights receive 30 percent off.

The special is available on new bookings only, cannot be combined with other offers and applies to all room types. The upscale Mountain Lodge at Telluride offers lodge rooms, condominium units and cabins with private balconies or patios, jetted tubs, luxurious robes, and, in condo units and cabins, and gourmet kitchens or kitchenettes with granite countertops. Property amenities include concierge services, fitness room, steam room, grocery shopping service, outdoor deck with heated pool and Jacuzzi, and complimentary wireless Internet service in all units and in the main lodge.

With the Smart Skier deal, Mountain Lodge is offering discounted lift tickets with stays of 3 nights or longer. Discounted ski rentals also are available through Mountain Lodge at Telluride's on-site ski shop, Christy Sports (http://www.christysports.com, 970-369-5267).

The resort, a five-minute walk to the area's free gondola, serves as a main base for all of Telluride's winter activities, including snowshoeing cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, horseback riding, shopping and spa-going.
